Carry Me Through (Soulful Christian)

Verse 1

I came in here with shaky hands

Dust on my shoes, tears in my plans

My heart’s a room with broken chairs

And I keep finding You there

I tried to stand on my own two feet

But the ground keeps slipping under me

So I’m kneeling where the fear was born

Right here, right here, I’m asking for more

Pre-Chorus

If I’m too weak to make it through

I know Your mercy’s still the truth

When I can’t hold myself together

You hold me better

Chorus

Carry me through

Carry me through

When my strength runs out

You still come through

Carry me through

Carry me through

I will not let go

If You carry me through

Verse 2

There’s a scar on every hidden thought

Every prayer I prayed and almost lost

But You don’t flinch at what I bring

You lift the shame right off of me

So I lay down my heavy pride

And all the pieces I tried to hide

If You can reach the lowest ground

Then I know I’ll be found

Pre-Chorus

If I’m too weak to make it through

I know Your mercy’s still the truth

When I can’t hold myself together

You hold me better

Chorus

Carry me through

Carry me through

When my strength runs out

You still come through

Carry me through

Carry me through

I will not let go

If You carry me through

Bridge

I’ve got nothing left to prove

Only need Your hand to move

Through the valley, through the rain

Through the night and through the pain

Even here, You’re making room

For a heart You’re bringing home

I hear hope in every breath

You’re not done with me yet

Final Chorus

Carry me through

Carry me through

When my strength runs out

You still come through

Carry me through

Carry me through

I will not let go

If You carry me through

Carry me through

Carry me through

My heart is safe

If You carry me through
