Barabbas Walked Free (Hymn-Style Worship)

Verse 1

The crowd cried out for Barabbas

A guilty man in chains

Jesus took his place that morning

And carried all his stains

Chorus

Barabbas walked free

And so did I

The innocent Lamb

Was sent to die

Verse 2

I was the one who deserved it

The sentence had my name

But Jesus stepped in front of me

And bore my guilt and shame

Bridge

In my place

He stood

On the cross

Of wood

Chorus

Barabbas walked free

And so did I

The innocent Lamb

Was sent to die
